Philadelphia Love Train


I was tasked to generate revenue and reach a younger demographic around a new collection of murals in 2009. I conceived and executed a promotional plan that went viral and continues to this day. I forged a partnership with the Southeastern Transportation Authority (SEPTA) to create a signature Valentine's Day event in Philadelphia that captured the national spotlight and generated hundreds of stories of love on public transit that were published in the Philadelphia Inquirer. An engagement photo session, a surprise wedding proposal, then an actual wedding held on the subway followed. The multi-faceted campaign took on a life of its own and generated millions of press hits and tens of thousands of dollars in revenue.
